Delete your account & data

Oasis & Mind is a mental-wellbeing and gardening game developed by Erkam Demirci. This page explains how to permanently delete your account and all the data associated with it — either directly in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

The short version: Open the app, go to Settings → Delete my data, and confirm twice. Your garden, journal, and notes are erased right away, and the last record of your account is removed shortly afterwards. No app installed? Email us and we'll do it for you within 30 days.

1. Delete in the app (recommended)

The fastest way is from inside Oasis & Mind. The flow is two gentle steps, and it clearly states the consequence before anything is removed:

Open Settings (from your profile).
Under your data, tap “Delete my data” — Erase your garden, journal, and all your data.
A sheet titled “Delete everything?” appears. It explains that all your plants, feelings, and notes are removed immediately, and that full account erasure is honored on request. Tap “Continue” (or “Keep my garden” to stop).
A final confirmation, “This can't be undone,” reminds you that everything you've grown will be gone for good. Tap “Yes, delete my garden” to finish (or “Go back”).

Your garden and notes are erased immediately. The last account record is removed on our side shortly afterwards — there's nothing more you need to do.

2. Delete by email

If you've already removed the app, or you'd simply rather we handle it, email erkmdmrc@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm your request and delete your data within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

Your account and sign-in identifier.
Your garden, plants, biomes, and collection (Almanac) progress.
Your private journal entries and emotion & mood check-ins.
Your focus history and self-care activity records.

Your journal entries and emotion data are treated as sensitive, special-category personal data under the GDPR. When you delete your account, they are deleted permanently — not archived, and never sold or shared for advertising.

4. Want a copy first?

Before deleting, you can export your data from Settings → Export my data to keep a copy of your garden, journal, and activity history. This step is optional.

5. Timing & retained records

In-app deletion removes your garden, journal, and notes immediately, with the final account record cleared server-side shortly afterwards. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We may retain a small amount of limited information only where the law requires it (for example, records needed for tax or legal obligations); this never includes your journal or emotion data.

6. About your subscription

If you subscribe to Oasis Plus, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by us. To stop future charges, cancel separately in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings (see Support for the steps). We wanted to be honest about this rather than let a renewal surprise you.
